Hyde Abbey – Whistle Stones

Whistle Stones can be seen re-used in walls around Hyde. These are stones, shaped like a whistle, that help to tie columns into the abbey walls. The two videos below are short 3D animations to demonstrate how they ‘slot’ together. These were constructed for Hyde 900 as part of their annual October events, open to the public, displaying research about Hyde Abbey.
