Case Study Sites for Comparison of Design practice

The three case study sites: Lacock Abbey (National Trust), Bolsover Castle (English Heritage) and Kensington Palace (Historic Royal Palaces) were chosen for their specific interpretations shortly after the Beaulieu Abbey kiosk interpretation was completed and launched. From reflection on my practice in the design and crafting of the Abbey interpretation, I wondered whether other interpretation designers’ practice involved direct communication with visitors. This post provides an overview and reason for choosing each site.
